May 11, 2010 at 10:57 A.M. The Central Islip FD was activated for a 2 car motor vehicle accident behind the local Walmart on Sycamore Lane. FD was required to secure both vehicles involved while CIHVA treated multiple patients, one of which had a serious head laceration.

Once the vehicles were secured and the EMS crews transported all patients, fire units were returned to service.
