May 19, 2010 The Central Islip FD responded to Belt Dr east and Lowell Ave for a reported fuel spill. Once on location, responding Chiefs confirmed a collision between a car and a mini bus that left a large fluid spill on the roadway. Engine 371 with 2nd Lt. Bobby Kuehn secured both vehicles and attended to the fuel spill. Ems was on location to treat both drivers of the vehicles, which had minor injuries and did not require transport. All units returned to service shortly after.
